Boreal Forest Guides Summer Kids Camps!

Red Cross: Babysitting Course: $50

Available for Birthday Party Courses!

Age: 11-15

Duration: 6-8 Hours  

Basic first aid and caregiving skills for youth 11–15 years old. Participants learn how to provide care to younger children in a variety of age groups, and how to prevent and respond to emergencies.

Dancing in Nature

Cost: $80/child for 5-1 hour classes

Run dates: July 9-13, July 23-27, July 30-August 3 and August 6-10

Ages 6-8: 9:30am-10:30 and Ages 9-12: 11am-12

Join instructor Rita Campbell for a five day dance camp to connect with nature through the art of dance.  She will incorporate the movement and sounds of nature into a lyrical/contemporary combination for the kids to learn for one hour each day with a performance for the parents on the final day. Whether you dance already or are willing to try something new this is a fun camp for all!

Learn to Canoe for Kids!

Have you always wanted your kids to be able to be water smart while still having fun? Well, learn to canoe for kids is a course that teaches children how to effectively manoeuvre a canoe while remaining safe! Your kids will learn the basics of canoeing, with Paddle Canada certified instructor Shawn, for five days for two hours each day.  During this time the kids will learn techniques and safety for paddling.

The camp will run in July and August for five day periods at a cost of $125 per week per child. The camp will be offered for children ages 9-12 and all equipment can be provided or you can bring your own.
