Voyageur Canoe Program
Travel back in time to Canada's beginning and paddle in a 29' big boat (Voyageur canoe) with you and up to 12 of your closest adventurous friends. Learn about the fur trade both in Canada and here in Cold Lake spanning from the 1600 - 1900's. We will talk about local legends and the history of the canoe and how it shaped this great country.
We prefer group bookings for the big Canoe but if we can get 4-6 paddlers we would be happy to guide you on this historical adventure.
This interpretive paddle will be taking place Tuesday, Thursday and Friday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30.

Paddle N Pour Program
What, Paddling followed by Wine and Craft Beer! Boreal Forest Guides and Wine Knows have teamed up to offer this eco-tourism adventure, sharing a common goal to bring a unique experience to the local area for the enjoyment of both locals and tourist alike. Join Me (Shawn) as I take you on an interpretive paddle in our new Clipper 29' Voyager Canoe on the beautiful shores of Cold Lake where you can indulge your senses and enjoy the serenity of the natural world around you!
Once you have completed your paddling journey, Amy from Wine Knows, our local Sommelier shall take you to a local establishment where you will savor various delightful Wines and/or Craft Beers paired with a delicious appetizer in a guided tasting that will surely intrigue and awaken your savvy senses.

We will also gladly book this program on a private booking just inquire on availability of dates and times.

Do you love the sunsets here in the Lakeland? They are some of the best in the world. Come check it out. We are happy to offer this program to those who may not mind staying up a little later to indulge themselves in the breath-taking sunsets here on the lake.
This adventure will be offered Tuesday to Sat evenings from 9:15pm to approx 11pm. Once again group bookings are preferred but if we can get a min of 4-6 pers we will be happy to take you out.

16' Prospector Canoe treks
If the Big Boat is not your style we also have room for up to 8 in our brand-new Clippers. These canoes are light weight stable and tough. Book them now for your guided paddling trip or fishing adventures.

Paddle The Beaver River
That's right we said it! lol. In this full day adventure (7-8hrs) we will paddle down the Beaver River, A local water way used by the local indiginess people, Fur trappers and Voyageurs to transport trade goods and furs to and from the Athabasca region to Fort William and beyond to Montreal and eventually shipped off to Europe. This trip shall be done in our new 16' Prospector canoes and comes with a small lunch including Bannock Bread.
This adventure shall be offered on Saturdays leaving from the Ardmore Bridge @9am and finishing @ the bridge just south of Cold Lake near the Casino at approx 4:30pm

Multi day trips
Northern Saskatchewan Experience: Paddle The Churchill River and follow the route of the Fur traders, we will see rock paintings, waterfalls, and incredible nature! More info coming soon! or; ask us about one of the many other trips we could custom plan to your needs and requests.
- All life jackets, paddles and equipment shall be provided for all of our programs. Please let us know if you have any special needs or requirements, we will do our best to assist.
- We can book just the big boat for up to 12, the smaller canoes with an additional 8 for a total of 20 paddlers all together. Call or email and we can discuss your needs.
- Please be advised that due to insurance and marine regulations that we do not allow alcohol or drug use on our boats.
